A Little R&R!

Hi Friends!

So, it is time to really roll our sleeves up and get started having some R&R (rigor and relevance) in our classes. Due to the chaos that is our lives in and out of school, I thought it would be easier to discuss and share ideas using a blog. We can blog during our planning mod or blog in our pajamas before bed.

To keep this organized and all of us on the same page, let's read portions of our handbook (about ten pages) every week and create posts about any thoughts, feelings, or concerns that may arise.

This is also a great way to share any Quad D moments that may happen to us throughout the week. Remember the difference between a Quad A and a Quad D lesson could simply be a verb... right up our alley!

Attached to this post is a powerpoint on R&R; it is lengthy, but zip through and see if anything catches your eye or provokes an idea. If you see anything worth noting, make a post to this blog!

Let's get started!

The powerpoint is located on SlideShare.net under the title "Teaching for Rigor and Relevance."

  1. Good Idea! This will be an efficient way for everyone to communicate about planning in Quadrant D.

    Thanks for initiating this, Kirstin.
